The variables outside the brackets have a value of 0 or 1, whereas the variables inside the brackets have values of 0 or 2
M: Mental(Glasgow<15) = 1 point

Pulse (HR) > 100 bpm = 1 point.
Albumin <2,5 g/dl = 2 points.
SBP < 90 mmHg = 2 points.
Hemoglobin < 10 g/dl = 2 points.
The risk profile of patients was divided into low risk for patients with score 0 – 1,
medium risk for score 2 – 5, and high risk of mortality for patients with MAP(ASH)≥6.
Mortality, intervention, rebleeding, and ICU admission in UGIB for older adults can be predicted well using MAP(ASH).
It is a
preendoscopic risk score for predicting clinical intervention and predicts the risk of death. According to previous findings, MAP(ASH) shows good predictive accuracy for
intervention and is fair for mortality.
